I never was much of a writer but lately I have been having so many thoughts that I really need to put them down somewhere. So Ghoulia suggested that I should get a diary and it seems that I'm following her advice since I'm writing this. I decided to upload the full size picture of this because I felt it was a waste not to seeing how much i had to shrink it down for my MH Q&A

So anyway, this is Hitomi Rōgu, or as Jin likes to call her, 'the whore'. She's a Jorōgumo, a type of Yōkai, a creature, ghost or goblin of Japanese folklore. According to some stories, a Jorōgumo is a spider that can change its appearance into that of a seductive woman.

In Japanese Kanji, Jorōgumo is written as "絡新婦" (literally meaning "binding lady") or "女郎蜘蛛" (literally meaning "whore spider"). Jorōgumo can also refer to some species of spiders but in casual use it can refer to the Nephila and Argiope spiders. The Nephila spider [link] [link] is the little spider that's dangling from her chopsticks and it's also the one that's featured on Jin's shirt. Their tattoos are also inspired by the markings of the spider.

Jin absolutely hates her and thinks she's one of the most disgusting people that exists since she offers up her body to every manster that even looks at her. He feels like that's just a waste of effort, seeing how she 'disposes' of them them so quickly. Yeah, for some strange reason, men seem to disappear after having spent the night with her. She spends most of her time staying at the house of whoever is her victim for that day so luckily for Jin, she rarely comes home. And if she does, either he or Kalli kick her out.
